Daniel Page was born in 1682/83. He was the son of George Page and Sarah Linsley.
He was but six years of age at the time of his father's death and was early forced to start out in life to make his own way in the world. In young manhood he became a resident of North Branford, where he purchased land and engaged in farming, becoming one of the representative and valued citizens of his community. He served as selectman about 1727, was one of the grand jury and was otherwise connected with public interests. His religious faith was that of the Congregational church.
