     Doswell V. Holt died on 18 November 1924 at age 54.11 He is buried West Union Cemetery, Martin County, Indiana. Rev O. A. Bonesutter officiating at the ME church of Shoals.3

     OBITUARY: Sarah Rebecca Ledgerwood, wife of Jacob Ledgerwood who lives six miles northeast of town, was brought here for medical treatment on Monday, 16th, but instead of improving she rapidly grew worse until on the evening of the 23rd death came to her relief. Sarah Rebecca, as she was familliarly called, was born in this country Juanuary 31st, 1853, was married to Jacob Ledgerwood, March 7, 1872 Martin county. She united with the U. B. church in the year 1890 and died in the Christina faith and hope. Her remains were removed on the 24st to Scotland, Greene county for interment. She was a kind and affectionate wife and mother. She leaves her husband and four little children and numerous relatives and friends to mourn their sad lose.2
