It appears that their son, Henry and his wife Eva, moved a few years before them. It also is unknown, if their daughter, Sally, who married John Bender, moved with them or stayed in Maryland.5

John Bricker married Mary Brinker, daughter of Andrew Brinker and Barbara Leatherman, on 6 April 1817 in Columbiana County, Ohio.6

He is living next to Anthony Clipinger, who he is also living next to in 1830 Butler Township Census. It is unknwon who the one female under 10 is. Barbara, was born Dec, 1820, but it is assumed that the census was taken before her birth. Based on ages, it is possible that the following were also living in the household, Andrew Bricker, a free white male, under 10 years old, Anna Bricker, a free white female, under 10 years old, Mary Brinker, a free white female, age 26 to 45 old.7 John Bricker was shown on the 1827 tax list in Butler Township, Columbiana County, Ohio. 4-16, Section 9 SW 279 acres. John's father-in-law owned 557.9 acres at this location in 1826. It appears that he sold 1/2 of his land to John.8 He was shown on the 1828 tax list in Butler Township, Columbiana County, Ohio. 4-16, Section 9 SW 279 acres.8 He was shown on the 1828 tax list in Center Township, Columbiana County, Ohio. Recorded near him is Rebecca Wright and Anthony Clapinger, who also paid taxes on 4-16, Section 9 land as did John Bricker and Moses Stanly, who paid taxes on 4-16, Section 10.
