     Henry Hamby married Sarah Cross, daughter of Mr. Cross and Temperance Deadmond, on 29 November 1810 in Wilkes County, North Carolina.1 Between 1820 and 1830, Henry and Sarah moved to Morgan County, Tennessee. The area they moved to is now Scott County, near the the Kentucky line.1 He sold three tracts land estimated to be 75 acres at Brimstone, Morgan County, Tennessee (now Scott County, Tennessee) to his wife's brother, Abraham Cross for $600.2 After 1844, Henry and Sarah moved to Scott County, Tennessee. Near the Morgan/Campbell County lines.1 On the 12th, Henry sold 150 acres on Roaring Paunch Creek, a branch of the Cumberland River, Campbell County, Tennessee (now Scott County, Tennessee) to Isaac Martin Hamby for $100. On the 15th he sold 160 acres to Dauswell and James Trammell on Roaring Paunch Creek for $50 (each).2

     Henry Hamby died before 1850.1
