     It is unknown how Stephen Holt and Drury Holt are related. They are both listed on various records in 1780s n Montgomery County, Virginia.

     Drury Holt, Stephen Holt, John Gray, William Rogers, and Isham Wright appear on a Revolutionary War militia men list dated 6 September 1782 in Elk Creek Disrict, Montgomery County, Virginia. Stephen Holt also appears on the 1782 Montgomery County, Virginia personal property tax list.¹ He was shown on the 1787 tax list in Montgomery County, Virginia. His name appears along with Drury Holt. They are both over 21 years old and each owns one horse and Drury owns one cattle and Stephen owns four.      Mary Boese was born before 1856. Mary's father was Frederick Boese. Her mother was Sophia. Sophia died in 1907 and is listed as the widow wife of Frederick Boese. Therefore Mary's father is not the Frederick Boese in Fort Wayne, that died in 1915.³ She was the daughter of Frederick Boese and Sophia (?)²

     Mary Boese married Christian Piepenbrink, son of Ernst Diedrich Piepenbrink and Ilse Marie Christine Sophie Witte, on 1 May 1873 in Ft. Wayne, Allen County, Indiana.^1,3 Pick a role; Christian is 33 years old and was born in Indiana. Also in his household is Mary, age 26, wife, Ida, age 6, daughter, and Otto, age 2, son. They are living on Holman street and Christain is working as a clerk in a store. Christian is shown as Chr and as being born in Prussia as was his parents. Mary is shown as being born in Hanover, as was her parents.⁴ Mary Boese survived the death of her husband, Christian Piepenbrink, who died on 27 April 1920 in Fort Wayne, Allen County, Indiana.⁵

     C. Herman Nieter was born before 1859.¹

     C. Herman Nieter married Lisetta Stellhorn, daughter of Henry Stellhorn and Sophia Brantmeyer, on 22 June 1879 in Allen County, Indiana.¹

     John Tuttle was born in 1596.^1,2 He was the son of Symon Tuttle and Isabel Wells.¹ John Tuttle immigration on the same ship as Richard Tuttle and Ann in 1635 at Boston, Massachusetts, Isabel Tutttle, widow, along with three sons, Richards, William, age 26, and John, sailed on the vessel, Plater, from London to Boston. Also on the ship was Richard's wife, Ann, and their family, William's wife, Elizabeth, age 23, and Williams' three children, John, age 3 1/2 years, Anna, 2 1/2 years, and Tomas, age eight months. William was then only twenty-six. The brothers were wealthy for the time, and had been merchants and land owners in England. They were affiliated with Reverend John Davenport's flock in 1635, but were equally interested in trade opportunities in the New World.^3,4

     John Tuttle died on 30 December 1656 in Ireland.^5,6
