     Benjamin Page was born on 11 August 1806. He was the son of Benjamin Page and Lois Ford.

     Benjamin Page married Sarah E. Merriam, daughter of Asel Merriam and Elizabeth, on 20 October 1836 in Meriden, Connecticut.

     Like his forbears, he was a consistent member of the Congregational church, taking an active part in its work, while his wife was identified with the Episcopal church. In politics he was a strong democrat and his ability caused him to be selected to various public positions of honor and trust. He was town clerk, was also justice of the peace for twenty-three years and acted in other public positions.

     Benjamin Page died on 16 July 1876 at age 69.

     Sarah E. Merriam was born on 8 February 1816. She was the daughter of Asel Merriam and Elizabeth.

     Sarah E. Merriam married Benjamin Page, son of Benjamin Page and Lois Ford, on 20 October 1836 in Meriden, Connecticut.

     Sarah E. Merriam died on 12 May 1887 at age 71.

     John M. Page was born on 14 February 1838. He was the son of Benjamin Page and Sarah E. Merriam.

     Charles Page married Elbertina Adelia Dudley, daughter of Luther F. Dudley and Elizabeth A. Buck, on 22 April 1863 in North Guilford, Connecticut.

     He spent practically all of his life in North Branford. After mastering the branches of learning taught in the district schools, he continued his education in the Meriden high school, from which he graduated when fifteen years of age. He then took up the profession of teaching, which he followed until he was seventeen, and later he went to the Guilford Institute. Subsequently he became a student in the normal school at New Britian, Connecticut, and afterward taught school in North Branford, aslso at Branford, at New Haven and at Stony Creek. While thus engage he studied for the ministry under the direction of the Rev. Curtis and Rev. Clark. In 1882 he entered the Yale School of Religion, later known as the Yale Divinity School, and in 1885 he was licensed to preach as a minister of the Congregational faith. He accepted the pastorate of the church at Branford and was afterward for a time at North Branford and at East Haven. In 1891 he took charge of the Congregational chapel at foxon and organized the work there so thoroughly that a church was established. He has been its minister since 1893, covering a period of twenty-four years. In 1880, through the terms of his uncle's will, he inherited a large farm in North Branford, where he made his home. He had the distinchtion of serving as town clerk for forty-six years. He was also a member of the state senate.
